Our little pumpkin turns "1"

Yes it's true, little Georgie turned 1 today. I always have a hard time when my babies turn 1, but we tried to make the most of today and have some good clean fun- aha right! I let him get his first real dose of frosting after I was done mixing it up. He thoroughly enjoyed it. My big mistake was putting him too close to the oven and cabinet. A bath was definitely needed for him, and the white shirt- well let's just say bleach was necessary. Too cute to pass up though.

Our good friends came over to help us celebrate. George had a look of panic when everyone starting singing. It was really distracting from what he really wanted which was the cake. He had trouble with the concept at first but eventually he got into the groove. With all the business, we missed a few of his messiest moments, but I am assured by my beloved that they were caught on video.

Happy 1st Birthday George. You have been such a blessing to our family. Your big personality lights up a room and melts hearts. We love you so much, and we look forward to watching you grow. May you be blessed all the days of your life, and may Our Blessed Mother keep you close and bring you to her son Jesus.
