Baby Boldischar looks great. We got to see our perfect 8 week 3 day old baby this afternoon. Its heart was beating a steady 170+ beats per minute. Elizabeth and Olivia came with and thought it was pretty cool when the dr. turned up the volume to hear its heart.
Thanks for the prayers; keep them coming in the months to come please. We talked a little about the increased risks since this will be my 6th cesarean, one of which is the placenta adhering over scar tissue and actually growing into the uterus. At delivery the placenta won't detach as it should and could require a hysterectomy. It's nothing at this point to be concerned about, but he will be doing more ultrasounds as I get closer to delivery.
My friend Emily had her level II ultrasound today as well. Little Matthew's heart is still not pumping right, and they are being referred to a specialist. On a positive note, he is growing well and is very active. Please continue to storm the heavens for them and their little boy.
