Gabriella Turns "3"

What's a birthday without cake? It seems as though our kids get their fair share of birthday cakes; two parties two cakes. Mom is starting to run out of ideas, but so far so good, and as long as they are happy we're all good. Gabriella was full of praises for me; "Great job Mommy" and "It's beautiful" were a few of her kudos.

Sunday, we had Laura/Jess and Kristi/Kevin and their kids over for a bbq. Mary and Gabriella are only 2 days apart, so it's a fun excuse to get together and of course have cake.

Gabriella's official birthday was yesterday. She's been saying since Sunday, "It's my birthday?" Finally, it was. She had a fun day of playing, being sung to repeatedly, opening presents, and of course eating more cake.
The official "I'm 3" pose. Don't you just love the dimples?

Here she is showing off her fancy new purse that she got from her Auntie Missy. She's thrilled to be a little lady.

Gabriella is enamoured with Dora and Diego. We may have gone a little overboard on the Dora stuff, but she is one happy little girl.

We got her a scooter; didn't realize how much assembly was required. Paul got some support from Grandpa.
Gabriella very gently and sweetly checks in to inquire if by chance her scooter is ready yet.
The birthday girl finally gets her scooter; she was pretty happy even if it was only in the kitchen.

We love you Gabriella and are so glad God brought you into our lives. May God bless you.
