A day late and more than a dollar short, but here's wishing my wonderful husband a happy father's day. After a full day working hard to provide for his family, Paul came home and jumped right into full daddy and host mode. We had our favorite 11+ family over for a Father's Day BBQ. We had a great time, and the kids especially loves when the rain came and we didn't call them in.
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband; I love you sweetheart. May God continue to grace you wisdom, perseverance and endurance.
The kids especially love that Daddy is taking on new adventures;lately; he's such a great dad, and he seems to be really coming out of his shell. We have been taking weekly trips to the cabin and are enjoying our new boat. We may be a little light on experience with boating, but we think that adds to the fun. I'm definitely enjoying watching it, and the kids are thrilled. We've been fishing, and Paul even tented out with the older ones- in the rain I might add ( I should mention he did put it inside my parents gazebo, but he tented none the less). The family time is great; great memories.

The boat is finally leaving the driveway and heading to the lake. We were more than a little nervous pulling a boat for the first time. We're just barely getting used to the size of our new van, but we did it or I should say Paul did it- we won't talk about his speed on the highway, but let's just say we weren't doing the passing.

We finally got the boat launched- not a pretty sight, but I'm sure the onlookers got a good chuckle at our expense. As soon as the boat started to float away, Paul realized he did not have the key; thankfully we had grabbed my dad's oar before we left the cabin. I almost peed my pants laughing so hard, but he made his way back to me on the dock, and then he headed out onto open waters. Great memories.

He took us out for a ride like the pro that he is... we had a great time full of laughs and wind in our hair.

Paul took us on a field trip to see a tomato green house; oh to be the wife of a produce geek. We had a lot of fun surprisingly; kind of neat to see where your food is grown.

My man- the fisherman- well at least the kids are fooled. I love you more and more as we journey life together.

Happy Father's Day to all the men in my life.
