The wake last night was a beautiful tribute to the man he was. Bless her heart, Kristina gave the most beautiful tribute to her beloved hubby as she always referred to him. There is no mistaking her love for him and their family. Paul's memory and devotion to the Lord with live on in them. Paul brought many people happiness and salvation through a simple question; "do you know the Lord?"
Undoubtedly, he is looking down on us shaking his head at our sadness because he has reached the place he was living to be. I imagine him embracing his 5 angels, our 3 angels, and the many other babies that have gone before us. I imagine his bright smile and huge arms cradling them saying "let me tell you about your mommies." It gives me some comfort to know that such a wonderful father is there with them.
Today will be a tough day, but God's promises are clear. His mercies are endless. He will never abandon us. He will never give us more than we can handle. His plan is perfect, and He will work all things for His glory and praise if we let him. It's so hard to imagine that Paul had fulfilled his purpose, but we must believe and trust that God knows what He is doing.
Please continue to pray for Kristina and the kids. If you feel so inclined, a memorial fund has been set up.
