We want to thank everyone who has congratulated us on the news of our new little one on the way. I have spoken to the dr, and he has again put me on a regimen of progesterone and baby aspirin. I did this with both Gabriella and George following the 3 miscarriages. The dr gave me a Dec. 18th due date, although I already have my sight set on Dec. 11th, and he's usually pretty easily swayed. I'm starting to get pretty tired which is a great sign that the baby is working hard to grow. I will go in 3 weeks for an ultrasound to check up on the little cherub.
We also want to thank everyone for there emails of love and support regarding Pauly. We have truly been touched by the kind words and promises of prayers. Paul and I are doing well, and are very confident that God has a plan. God has really been preparing us for this for some time, and we are strong; we are full of faith, hope and determination to allow this to be used for His glory. We have seen so much progress over the last few years and especially over the last year, so we are confident that he will be ok. Pauly really is no different today than he was before the diagnosis; he is just an amazing kid, and nothing but good can come from having more answers and resources. We are really learning how to see through different eyes more and more with each part of this journey; eyes of love and acceptance for those who look, sound and act a little different. We are being humbled and reminded more and more everyday who is truly in charge.
So many are asking what can we do? My best answer is to continue to pray for us and educate yourselves. Here is another great website I found. www.autismspeaks.org

Mer, I am so happy that things seem to be going well. Just wanted to say that I love you dearly and are very excited for what God is doing in you and your family's lives. It is very exciting and looking forward to the journey. And come on===get the camera working! :) We need to see pics! :) Love you!
